Les Darlow  The artist uses his unique and unmistakable style to demonstrate his atmospheric approach to storms, cloudscapes, weather, winter scenes and wonderful landscapes. This love of the weather has developed over the years from his love of the outdoors; walking the mountains of the English Lake District, chasing tornadoes in America, snowboarding in Austria, the artist attempts to show both the unbelievable beauty and imminent destruction a storm can bring. A sky, just before a storm strikes can be almost celestial in its appearance. Les paints in all mediums and his pastels techniques are now being taught at many outlets throughout the UK as workshops. An online series of "How to paint with Pastel" is available through the website.

Les not only loves to paint, but loves to demonstrate pastels and teach the medium. He is very proud to have become the First UK Ambassador for Canson, The World Leader in Fine Art Paper manufacture.
