This 2/3 hour-long Live Zoom Paint Along includes instruction, demonstration, and question + answer time. It will give you a good incite in how I use PanPastel and how to make clean, positive, meaningful marks keeping the wonderful transparency of the medium. You will learn how to use other media with PanPastel such as Alcohol based marker pens, Ink Pens and using Blending Alcohol to turn PanPastel into paint using a brush. PanPastel has so much to offer in the way of flexibility and the use of an Eraser will surely amaze you how this works so well.
We will also cover Composition, Values, Colour Temperatures, Recession, Depth of Field and Movement.
Students will need, for each class:
- Students will need 1 sheet of WHITE Canson Mi Teintes Paper. I suggest Half a full sheet. I will be working on a sheet 375mm x 550mm Click here for source although slightly smaller
- Water jar, rags,
- A watercolor brush, I recommend: Size 3-5 round
- Printouts of the attached reference material. (sent to registered students)
- 3 x Sofft wedge shaped sponges
- 1 x Sofft mini applicator (not essential)
- 1 x square plastic Eraser
- 2 or three alchohol based marker pens - {Value Pens} I use Promarkers, but not essential to use same brand. Click here for Info
